Collin's First Crush

Collin has made me smile with some of the comments he had made about girls before

...like the time I asked him if he had fun with his babysitter & he replied, "Miss Candace has really long legs!!"

Or the time when he referred to a girl in his class as his "special friend" because she "has really long hair".

However this time I think it's serious. Our conversation in the car on the way home from school today:

Collin: Mommy, when I get to be a daddy I am going to marry Miss V!!!

Me: Collin, Miss V is about to marry someone else. When you grow up you will find the right girl to marry...

Collin: maybe we can just go to Miss V's house! Do you know where she lives?

Me: no, I don't know where she lives.

Collin: You can use the GPS mommy!!

Me: usually we just see our teachers at school. But I know that Miss V will be so excited to see you Monday!

Collin: can we get a picture of her mommy?

I love that sweet little boy :). Of course we will be asking Miss V if I can take their picture together on Monday! I am sure she won't mind, she loves Collin too :)
